In accordance with SNZ TS 3404:2018 – Durability requirements for steel structures and components, we apply a range of protective coatings to our structural steel and metalwork, depending on specifications and intended installation location. This varies depending on the atmospheric corrosivity category, which can range from C1 (very low) to C5-M (very high).

Surface preparation and specialised coatings are currently sourced offsite at specialist paint shops, allowing us to have more capacity for fabrication. However, depending on the project requirements, we have our own painting area for shop priming, allowing for extremely fast turnaround of internal column and beam components – from fabrication to delivery to site in hours.

Protective Coatings that we can apply include:

  • Hot Dipped Galvanised
  • Zinc Spray
  • Shop Prime
  • 2-Coat paint system
  • 3-Coat paint system
